SK.Bio.305: Basics of biostatistics with R (3 C, 2 SWS)

Learning objectives and competencies: After successfully completing the module, the students have learned how to use the free statistical language R and how to apply the language to biological data sets. You can use the statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics, parametric and non-parametric two-sample tests, chi-square test, correlation analysis, linear regression analysis, and ANOVA.

Seminar: Introduction to biostatistics with R (2 SWS)

Module exam: Written exam (90 minutes)
Examination prerequisites: Regular participation in the course and submission of the solutions to the exercise sheets
Exam requirements: Independent analysis of biological data sets using the R language; Assessment and practical application of basic statistical test procedures
